Welcome to the “Net-Zero Backyard Project” located in Los Altos, California. The purpose of this project is to remodel an existing 24,000 square foot lot to create a beautiful and comfortable, family oriented backyard suitable for entertaining large numbers of guests while maintaining a Net-Zero energy and water protocol for the entire property. The project is designed to be not only stunningly beautiful, but a completely healthy environment that produces as much energy and water as it consumes. Not an easy task on a typical neighborhood lot in California.
